“I am a small business owner. I recently used Schorn for my restaurant renovation project. This was a very stressful project for me, as I only have one location, so my business was going to be closed for an unknown period of time. This not only affected my business but most importantly my staff. Schorn understood my situation and made it a Priority to fast-track the project the best they could while also making sure the project would be done right. From the start of the project and figuring out a realistic budget with Ian & Michael, to My project manager Francis guiding the construction from start to finish, Schorn was there every step of the way. My project finished ON SCHEDULE & ON Budget, and for a small business owner with only one location, this could not have gone any better. Above that, the finished product is even beyond my expectations. My customers are blown away by not only how fast the project was done, but the quality of work that went into it. I highly recommend using Schorn for any restaurant renovation you are considering.”
What Our Clients Say
We recently had the pleasure of working with Schorn Construction on a church renovation project, and we are thrilled with the results. From the initial meeting through preconstruction and every construction phase, the communication and coordination were impeccable.
Special kudos to Project Manager Paul Frank and onsite Superintendent Francis Haws for their outstanding contributions. Paul’s attention to detail and proactive problem-solving ensured a smooth project, while Francis’s on-site management and construction acumen were top-notch.
Ian and the entire team at Schorn Construction demonstrated professionalism and expertise, exceeding our expectations. We highly recommend Schorn Construction for their exceptional work and look forward to future collaborations.
I know I’ve told you in person but I just wanted to write to you to again let you know how very much our West Chester Area Senior Center appreciates you and your entire team at Schorn Construction.
From our very first meeting we had several years ago, it was immediately evident that you and your team enthusiastically jump into a project prepared to give it your all. We truly appreciate your team’s timely communication and commitment to doing a job right from start to finish…. but we also see how much you all genuinely care about the quality of your company’s work each and every day.
As a hometown nonprofit, we were always keenly aware that we weren’t nearly the biggest project your company was working on at any given time, but it says a whole lot about the Schorn Construction team and your leadership that each of our center’s projects was treated with the utmost care, commitment, and high quality as your other jobs we know were far, far bigger.
It was great to learn your entire team’s names while they worked here – but what a pleasant surprise it was when they learned our senior center staff team’s names too! That level of caring doesn’t come easy these days.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention to you 3 distinct things that have happened in the years following our first project your company completed for our senior center. First was my bumping into a member of your team in town and him greeting me by name with a big smile and asking how our project was working for us and if we were still as happy with it as the day you all had finished (that was an easy YES!). Second, was another member of your team stopping by our center to drop off some materials for a much more recent job you did and his asking me if everything from our first project was working as expected or if we needed anything. But third, and perhaps most memorable, was another one of your team members calling me a few months after the first project was finished to ask if he could volunteer at our senior center in his time away from work. WOW. What a great thing to know our respective organizations’ missions met on our common ground of serving our hometown community in the best way possible!
Please pass along our thanks and appreciation to your whole team, Ian.
Keep doing what you all do best!
We have been working with Schorn Construction since 2010 and it was one of the best decisions that we made since our founding in 1983. The team from Schorn has taken our construction projects to another level. Their communication and leadership is off the charts.
Our jobs come in on budget and on time and it is 100% because of the work Ian and his team do before the job even starts. He reviews every inch of every blueprint page to see any issues before they happen. He is actually happy coming to us and saying, “I think that we can save you some money here”.
The estimating process is a breeze. 100% transparent & only the highest quality subs. Every sub is vetted for every job. Just because you won a bid for a previous project doesn’t mean that you get the next one. The Schorn Team hires some of the best Superintendents in the field. Their on-site management of the project and the subs is phenomenal. Their on-site decisions and up-to-the-minute communication save us so much critical time. When they hand us the keys to the store the job is 100% complete.
Even though they are a big company we have a direct line to everyone including the CEO and they answer 24/7 every time. We would not be where we are today without Schorn Construction. We look forward to many more projects with Schorn.
There is a Schorn Construction difference. It’s all about planning. The amount of work and attention to detail that goes into pre-construction is exceptional. This allows us to know with a high degree of certainty of our budget and our time to open. The quality of builds and the quality of people we get to work with is outstanding. As a result, all of our builds in the Philadelphia region have moved exclusively to Schorn.
I had my first experience with Schorn Construction in 1988. They have been my go-to contractor wherever my career has taken me. Their integrity and, commitment to caring and cooperating with their clients, continues to be a breath of fresh air again and again.
